A.L. HARDY THEOLOGICAL INSTITUTE

Academic expectations

Know what to expect as you study, submit your work, and work toward completing your program.

Study and assessment

Complete the readings and required work in each course. Your instructor reviews written assessments and provides feedback. The passing score for the current written assessments is 80%. Check each assessment for its instructions and allowed attempts. Program completion and credentials also depend on the published course requirements and the school’s review.

Academic integrity

Submit your own work, cite Scripture and other sources accurately, and distinguish quotations from your own reasoning. Discuss questions and interpretations respectfully. Do not represent another person’s work as your own.

Enrollment and return to study

If your enrollment has ended or been suspended, contact Admissions about returning. Completed courses stay on your record. After approved re-enrollment, you restart your most recent incomplete course; earlier work from that course is kept for school review.

Ministry preparation and credentials

These programs prepare students for ministry and leadership. Completion does not establish governmental authorization or professional licensure. The institute makes its own academic and credentialing decisions, including any readiness or supervised-practice review.

Privacy in learning

Use fictional or appropriately anonymized examples in discussions and coursework. Do not submit confidential pastoral records, financial information, or identifying details about vulnerable people.

Payment plans and course access

Course access begins after verified full payment or the first installment. Each installment is due by 11:59:59 p.m. UTC on the date in your signed agreement. A three-day (72-hour) grace period follows. If payment remains overdue, coursework and protected downloads pause automatically. You can still sign in, make payment, and contact Admissions.

Your completed work, grades, and progress are saved while payment is overdue. Once all overdue payments are confirmed, access can resume. Any separate school suspension must also be resolved with Admissions. Finishing your payment plan preserves paid course access; you still need to meet the academic requirements.

Withdrawal and refunds

Contact Admissions to request withdrawal. A full refund is available within 14 days of paid course access beginning. After that, refunds are prorated for unstarted courses using the tuition allocation in your signed agreement. Future installments stop after an approved withdrawal.

Your agreement explains how course activity affects the refund calculation and confirms the terms for your enrollment. Admissions can help you understand your options before you make a decision.

Application, matriculation, and award fees

The $10.00 application fee is non-refundable and due when submitting an application. The one-time $20.00 matriculation fee is due upon initial acceptance. The $20.00 Graduation/Award fee is due upon completion of all coursework in the student’s track, once for that track’s award. These charges are separate from tuition and do not amend previously signed tuition agreements.

The tuition withdrawal policy above does not make the application fee refundable. Admissions will explain any applicable refund treatment for other fees before payment.
